Happy Holidays!

That was a very stressful week. I'm not sure I got any sleep at all, but drawing was fun! In case I forget, have a great break! It's been fun! (^_________^)

Azaria

Azaria is my absolute favorite! I think I spent most time drawing her. Like I did, I think about over five hours, I know it's probably more but I wanted to make sure I got my idea of her just right! I was going to make her dress all black, but it looked to plain. So much red though. That's fine, it's my favorite color anyway. = D
I started thinking of dragon when I was trying to make her look more evil and I like looking and her dragon ear like crown. Enjoy!

Dahlia

Dahlia was actually really fun to draw. I wish I could have added more to her, but when I did it seemed like to much, or not who she was. I do not know how long this took for her, but definitely more than six hours. I have to work on drawing faster, but I kinda did towards the end of my work so YAY! I really don't like my silhouettes, and I know I need to improve that. Also I wanted Dahlia with a lighter toned skin color, but I think it looks good how she looks now. She makes me think of Fall.

Shadow

So this is everything for my raven Shadow. Never thought I would look at birds for hours just to draw one, but I did! So honestly I don't know how long this took me. I haven't slept, so a good amount of hours. I might have took my time on the coloring, which I really enjoyed doing. I'm not too satisfied with my drawing, for if I had more time I might have fixed everything till I seen it as perfect. Well, here's the raven. Caw? = D

Number 12

I added more sils for my villain Azaria which took about 3 hours, I think these are better than the first ones I did. I tried changing clothes and tried to make new poses.

I decided that I might be changing the outfit for my hero character Dahlia. Here are some sketches that I was thinking of. It took me about 2 hours for these. I might not give her a dress, but I am still unsure. I also might be changing the hood into a scarf like one of the sketches.

Number 11

I like these sketches, for it was fun to fix up the outfit and change it from the original ones. This took about six hours tho, but I was taking my time too, especially the eyes! Not sure if I shaded them enough, perhaps I need more.

This took about four hours to draw the plain back silhouettes and another two hours for the lighting and such. I don't like them though, silhouettes are my weakness. Although I do like my birds and even tried to make a feather brush which helped a lot!

Number 10

So this took about 7 hours. First off, I looked at tons of bird pictures, like a lot...
I sketched  a new pose of it flying/landing to the ground, but I dislike the back bottom
feathers as well as the feet. I tried for an hour to fix them, but also asked others who
said it looked fine. Personally, I think they might be a little small. Anyway, the rest
of the time I spent on coloring it. That was kinda fun so I took my time. I think I
shaded it alright, but the lighting might not be so good. Overall, I think its better than
my first bird even though it might not be perfect. =D
